Hi, I’m meghan gaddis md.
I was raised in the heart of Creole and Cajun culture... Lafayette, Louisiana. My desire to practice medicine was greatly influenced by my father, who served as a nurse and paramedic in the US Navy. My preparation for the medical field began in New Orleans at Xavier University of Louisiana where I received my bachelors degree with honors in Biology. I then went on to earn my medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – School of Medicine. Upon completion of my medical studies in New Orleans, I returned back to my hometown of Lafayette to join the LSU – Lafayette Family Medicine Residency Program.
Upon completing training, I moved back to New Orleans with my family to practice a combination of integrative and traditional family medicine that further ignited my passion to change patients’ lives through complete lifestyle changes. My goal is to transform patients’ lives by getting to the “root” of their issues by providing individualized treatment plans for each patient using prevention, nutrition and a foundational and holistic approach.
Hi, I’m Whitney Nicholson rn.
Registered nurse for over a decade specializing in immunology and infusion therapy.
As a native Louisianian, wife, and mother of 3, I developed a dedication to helping others and dreamt of opening up my own company who’s goal is to transform medicine one patient and clinic at a time. If you have a dream, you make it happen and don’t give yourself an option to quit. My passion stems from not only working in the field of healthcare, and witnessing the trial and error within practices, but as a patient myself with autoimmune dysfunction. I became determined to research tools and resources that better aid one’s health journey by getting to the root cause of issues and not just practice a regimen that only focuses on band-aid fixes. It’s about lifestyle changes, being your own health advocate, being able to research and question, on top of having the encouragement and guidance of others to help you do so. Throughout that approach, I have been able to transform my health and became dedicated to helping others do the same. I’m so excited to meet with you to start your health journey together.
Our Approach
As we’re coming to discover more and more, there should never be a “one-size fits all” type of standard of care. Each individual is unique and wonderfully made. Our bodies were designed to heal and repair more than we give them credit. Here at The Well Life Integrative Health, that has become our mission, to give the body what it needs to function how it was created to. We are so excited to partner with you in changing how we think about medicine through “integrating” a more holistic approach intertwined with traditional medicine practices.
